TOPEKA, KS (August 29, 2023) Only a month after naming former Kansas State Rifle Association President Patricia Stoneking as a permanent Director Emeritus, we must share that earlier today she went home to be with her Lord and Savior. The Second Amendment has lost one of its most devoted advocates and Patricia left big shoes to fill.

In our state’s history, few have done more to defend our Second Amendment freedoms and expand our ability to freely exercise our God-given right to self-defense. For Patricia’s tireless devotion and unwavering sacrifice for freedom, we are forever in her debt.

Arrangements for Patricia’s service are pending. We will share more details as we get them, but know that the Kansas State Rifle Association and our thousands of members and supporters across the state held a very special place in Patricia’s heart and we intend to carry her legacy forward with every fibre of our being.

UPDATE August 31, 2023 at 12:00 PM:

True to form, Patricia requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Kansas State Rifle Association or the Kansas City Hospice. We are incredibly grateful for Patti’s continued dedication to our mission to the very end and ask that anyone wishing to honor her memory through a donation use the special link below so we can share our gratitude with her family for each gift we receive.
