Please join us in welcoming Clark Shultz as the newest member of your Kansas State Rifle Association Board of Directors!
With Kelly Arnold’s election as KSRA Treasurer at the 2023 Annual Meeting, a Director At Large vacancy was created. As directed by the bylaws, the KSRA Board on Sunday took action to elect Shultz to the unexpired term for that position.
Shultz brings wide-ranging experience to this new role. He was selected by the Board because of his outstanding dedication to protecting our Second Amendment rights and a unique skillset that will enhance existing Board strengths during a time when the organization is actively growing.
Clark is an Emory Lindquist Honors Graduate from Wichita State University and received his Master of Business degree from Baker University. He served in the Kansas House from 1997 until 2014 when he was elected to the Kansas Senate to fill the remainder of an unexpired Senate term. During his time in the Legislature, Clark served as Chair of the House Insurance Committee, Chair of the Education Budget Committee, House Majority Whip, Rules Chair, and Vice-Chair of the Appropriations Committee.
As a Representative, Clark Shultz was named as Legislator of the Year by the Kansas State Rifle Association for his staunch leadership on Second Amendment issues.
Clark is a licensed title insurance agent and spent a decade as a compliance auditor. Before serving in the legislature, Clark served on the Smoky Valley Board of Education. He and his wife Lori have six children and live in Lindsborg.
Thank you to Clark Shultz for his consistent defense of the Second Amendment, ongoing support of the Kansas State Rifle Association, and his willingness to continue serving Kansans in this new role.
