Earlier this afternoon, Senator JR Claeys of Salina introduced a bill in the legislative special session that would eliminate sales taxes on firearms, ammunition, accessories, and firearm storage devices. Introduction of this bill starts a conversation on an important topic that we look forward to the Legislature debating when they return to Topeka for the 2025 Regular Session in January.
